In this picture I was about 5 years old; this was taken on picture day. My mom did my hair and put me in my favorite dress with the polka-dots on it to make sure that I looked my best. I never liked wearing dresses because I really enjoyed playing outside. This was the one day in the year that I couldn't play around at recess because I had to remain clean. My hair was in an 80's inspired side-ponytail with the rest hanging loose. This is one of my favorite pictures from my childhood because I can see the pure happiness I had as a child.
